Watched an angler land massive 20lbd + Blue trout, it had him down to the backing several times before it was natted. Fish are moving everywhere, but its a bitterly cold east wind and the fish are difficult to catch. very frustrating as its loaded with good quality trout of all sizes |

EXCELLENT, WITH FISH TAKING AT VARIOUS WATER LEVELS. THE WATER IS GIN CLEAR AND ANGLERS WHO ENJOY THE SPORT OF DRY FLY FISHING ARE HAVING GREAT SPORT USING VARIOUS DRY FLY PATTERNS. THE DEDICATED BUZZER FISHER IS ALSO ENJOYING SOME TERRIFIC SPORT, AGAIN WITH VARIOUS BUZZER PATTERNS,BLACK@SILVER, CLARET, AND FLEXI FLOSS BLOODWORM BUT TO MENTION A FEW. THE ANGLER WHO LIKES TO FISH LURE PATTERNS AGAIN IS ALSO HAVING GREAT RESULTS WITH PAATERNS SUCH AS THE WOLLY BUGERS,NO MADS, AND VARIOUS NYMPHS. THE FISH AT THE MOMENT ARE AVERAGING AROUND 3LBS+ AND ARE IN TIP TOP CONDITION, MANY OF THE ANGLERS ARE REMARKING ON HOW STRONG THE FISH ARE AND ARE FIGHTING WELL ABOVE THEIR BODY WEIGHT. |

No wind and lots of sunshine provided challenging conditions but many anglers took good bags of fish. Dries including Black Gnat, Blay and Black and Daddies all did particularly well.
Damsels and mini cats were the most successful lures fished on intermediate lines.
Buzzers took fish but were not as successful as usual - Black was the best colour this week.
Mr Gray had the Best fish of the week at 13lb 14oz on a Dry Daddy...
